Coastal Downsizing verifies each gold and silver coin, bullion, or bar using a Sigma Metalytics Tester. Other precious metals are checked using other non intrusive means. We want to have a great auction with happy bidders so please read all this information before bidding.
Additional Terms and Conditions for Coin Auctions Only:
- 3% Convenience Fee: will apply to any winning bidders using a credit card for payment. Winning bidders must email us within 24 hours after the conclusion of the auction if they wish to pay cash when picking up. Bidders may send an email to: info@coastaldownsizing.com and request their card not be charged. If we do not receive an email from winning bidder and/or if winning bidder does not receive acknowledgment from us of email within 24 hours after the conclusion of the auction, the bidders credit card on file will be charged and a 3% convenience fee will be added to the invoice total. Once bidders card has been charged, the fee will not be refunded.
- Buyer's Premium: 15%
- Shipping: When shipping coins, currency or precious metals, bidder must pay via bank wire transfer or Zelle and invoice must be paid within three business days after the conclusion of the auction. We will not accept any other form of payment when shipping these items. Once your items have been paid for, they will be processed for shipping. Bidder will receive an invoice from Coastal Downsizing to pay their shipping fees (bidder may pay for the shipping cost using their credit card).
- Taxes: Any coin, currency, or bullion sold in The Commonwealth of Virginia is exempt from sales tax.
- Lot Descriptions: Unless a coin has been graded by a professional grading service such as PCGS or NGC, any description of that particular coin is only an opinion of the coins condition.
- Failure to Pay: Any bidder that does not pay their invoice on or before the local pick up date could be permanently banned from our platform and will be responsible for all attorney and collections fees per our Terms and Conditions
